I need some new running shoes as my current pair are slowly falling apart.
Thing is I’m struggling to decide, so I need some advise!
If you have a make which you find the best please message me.
Yours sincerely,
A confused runner

My last post got cut so here’s the rest…
I’ve started a new chapter in my life. I thought my running was over once I left university. However I realised all of the greatest middle/ long distance runners don’t peak until their late 20’s/30’s. So there’s still time. Okay comparing myself to a great runner is a bit big headed but my point is running isn’t for the young, it’s for life. It’s a habit.
I’ve started training with a local road running group where I will train with on a Tuesday/Thursday so I can still train with my old club on a Sunday/Monday and can play netball on Wednesdays.
I’m writing this post after one of these sessions, which is probably why I’m so hyper and buzzing and this ‘quick’ post is turning into a mini essay which noone will probably read. But that’s okay I’m not here to become Tumblr famous. I’m here for me.
Tonight’s session was 400m reps followed by 400m recovery. First track session in 8 weeks and I felt like I was flying. Well until the last one where the lactic acid kicked in and it was more like swimming that running. The point is I ignored my times. Just ran. Ran my socks off and I’m aching like a biatch now.
I’ve never felt better about running. So this is the start of the new me.
Thanks if you managed to read this far.
Lots of Tumblr Love

Hello Tumblr,
Even though I have been on Tumblr for a while I’ve been a bit of a ghost/ elephant in the room forever watching and never interrupting. So I’ve decided it’s a new year (okay it’s been 12 days) but I suddenly realised I lost my one true love… running.
I apologise for this rant, and I thank you if you actually read on.
Okay, okay I know it’s really cheesy but it’s true. At one point in my life and believe me it wasn’t that long ago I was at the peak of my fitness. Running/ training 6 days a week and feeling wonderful.
Then a huge lifestyle change happened and things all went wrong… I graduated University. Which meant bye bye to organising everything (even my lectures) around training. Goodbye free time. Hello working 8-5 Monday - Friday and feeling knackered every night of the week. Not to mention I got injured… 3 times, which was probably my own fault. One thing you should know is I won’t back down to a race. Albeit if I do have 6 inch heels on. So I sprained my ankle 3 times in the space of 8 weeks, one of which I was on a training run so it’s not too bad.
The point of that story was that I suddenly got completely lost. I had no consistency in my life. For the last 4 months I’ve been living to work. Not working to live. I get up go to work then crash of tiredness. Not realising the reason why I’m so tired was because I was being LAZY.
That’s right those four little letters which can make so much of a difference. I got comfortable in my life and my little routine. I was forgetting the real me, who loves to run. Who would get up in the morning at 6am for an hour run then circuit training. Who would plan her day around training. Who would turn down the offer to go shopping but hit the gym instead.
So, what have I done about this horrible new ‘me’?
I’ve started a new chapter in my life. I thought my running was over once I left university. However I re
